    "Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's." Of course, Jesus Christ did have a tax collector in his retinue. And he talked about the unjust steward writing down what his master was owed. Which, when you come to think of it, is not very different from issuing tax cuts to wealthy cronies when a Congressman is about to be sacked.

    Then there was the thing about the loaves and fishes and how sharing ensures that good things will come back. The message is still the same--invest to reap a profit.

    So, where did hoarding come from? Oh, yes, Aaron in the Old Testament did that so he could construct a golden calf and be chastised as "ye of little faith."
