The Millionaires Party began to take large strides toward a hostile takeover of the US Government back in 1981. That's when Reagan got his so called "Economic Recovery Tax Act" passed on a vote of 238 to 195 in the House controlled by a Democratic majority of 244 to 191, with the connivance of 137 House Democrats. In the Senate it passed on a vote of 89 to 11 in a Senate with a Republican majority of 53 to 46, with the connivance of 37 Senate Democrats.
The Millionaires Party's next big step toward remaking the US into an Plutocracy came in 2001. The Bush Tax Cuts passed the House on a vote of 240 to 154 in a House controlled by a Republican majority of 220 to 211, with the connivance of 27 House Democrats. The Bush Tax Cuts passed the tied Senate 58 to 33, with the connivance of 12 Senate Democrats.
Yesterday we saw the Millionaires Party cement its control of the US government with the passage of the CRomnibus budget bill. The CRomnibus budget bill passed the House 219 to 206 in a House with a Republican majority of 234 to 201, with the connivance of 37 House Democrats. Last night the CRomnibus budget bill passed the Senate 56 to 40 in a Senate with a Democratic majority of 53 to 45, with the connivance of 32 Senate Democrats, and President Obama.
How many levers of power does the bipartisan Millionaires Party now hold?
Which Millionaire Are You Voting For?
If millionaires were a political party, that party would make up roughly 3 percent of American families, but it would have a super-majority in the Senate, a majority in the House, a majority on the Supreme Court and a man in the White House.
And these trends don’t stop at the federal level. Since the 1980s, the number of state legislators whose primary occupations are working-class jobs has fallen from 5 percent to 3 percent. In City Councils, fewer than 10 percent of members have blue-collar day jobs. Everywhere we look in government, almost no one with personal experience in working-class jobs has a seat at the table.
Their absence, moreover, has real consequences. Lawmakers from different classes tend to bring different perspectives to public office. John Boehner is fond of saying that he’s a small-business man at heart and that “It gave me a perspective on our country that I’ve carried with me throughout my time in public service.” And he’s right. Former businesspeople in government tend to think like businesspeople, former lawyers tend to think like lawyers, and (the few) former blue-collar workers tend to think like blue-collar workers.
The Millionaires Party got instrumental assistance from the nakedly pro Plutocracy Supreme Court, who has systematically dismantled Campaign Finance Reforms enhancing the power Millionaires and Billionaires can wield in our two party political system. Further insulating the entrenched party establishments from the interests of the vast majority of American citizens.
The only serious challenge to the power of the Plutocracy we have seen recently came from the Occupy Wall Street Movement. A movement President Obama gave brief lip service to, while Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder coordinated local authorities to crush the Occupy Movement by clearing Occupy from the public venues they were utilizing to peacefully organize opposition to the burgeoning Plutocracy, being fostered by the bipartisan Millionaires Party.
The Crackdown on the Occupy Movement
The PCJF has obtained thousands of pages of documents pursuant to its Freedom of Information Act demands and made them available for public viewing. The newly obtained documents show coordination and intelligence monitoring by the DHS, the FBI, the NYPD and other law enforcement agencies of “Occupy-type” protests.

FBI documents revealed that from its inception, the FBI treated the Occupy movement as a potential criminal and terrorist threat even though the agency acknowledges in documents that organizers explicitly called for peaceful protest and did “not condone the use of violence” at Occupy protests.
FBI offices and agents around the country were in high gear conducting surveillance against the movement even as early as August 2011, a month prior to the establishment of the OWS encampment in Zuccotti Park and other Occupy actions around the country.
Separate government documents obtained by the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF) showed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an agency created after the September 11 attacks under the rubric of combating terrorism, conducts daily monitoring of peaceful, lawful protests as a matter of policy.
Functioning as a secret political police force against people participating in lawful, peaceful free speech activity, the heavily redacted documents show that the DHS “Threat Management Division” directed Regional Intelligence Analysts to provide a “Daily Intelligence Briefing” that includes a category of reporting on “Peaceful Activist Demonstrations” along with “Domestic Terrorist Activity.”
The documents show the routine use of Fusion Centers for intelligence gathering on peaceful demonstrations as well as the use of DHS’ “Mega Centers” for collection of surveillance information on demonstrations.

President Obama continues to put Wall Street ahead of Main Street as he pushes for the conclusion of the Trans Pacific Partnership negotiated in secret to enhance the power of the Plutocrats by forfeiting our national sovereignty to foreign corporations and their Millionaire and Billionaire investors.
As Obama WH welcomes GOP gains for trade pact vote, Democrats should stand up and Reject the T.P.P.
The vast majority of Americans have been effectively disenfranchised by the Plutocrats' tsunami of money into our political system. A political system run by millionaires themselves, who constitute the core of the Millionaires Party.
Meet the Press Transcript - December 7, 2014
CHUCK TODD: Members of Congress? Over half of them, remember there are 535 of them, over half of them are millionaires. So you wonder why the economy, income inequity, all of these issues, you don't feel like Congress quite understands the urgency of it, this is all you need to know. Half of them are millionaires.

MTP Explains why Congress is broken: "all you need to know. Half of them are Millionaires."
The only thing that can counter the Plutocracy from ruling us through the Millionaires Party for the foreseeable future is a mass movement like Occupy rising up from the Grassroots to challenge the Plutocrats' hold on then levers of power. The only question is will it take the greed driven excesses of the Plutocrats pushing us over the edge into a new Great Depression to make that happen?
I don't think we as Americans can afford to wait any longer.
