On a recent trip, one of the hosts of Nuance picked up a local newspaper and noticed the content was overtly political. This struck him as a bit odd. Our hyper-partisan cable news landscape, with their obvious biases, draw millions of viewers with their sided political commentary and opinions. These programs walk the line of what is labeled news. It’s a far cry from the days of Ted Koppel. There are many online outlets with news giving a specific political slant and viewpoint. However, is that the case with local media as well or are they more neutral in their reporting?
Do you believe your local media are too political or not political enough?
