This is good news indeed. Contrary to the worries I'd expressed in my earlier post, all signals are 'go' on this important legislation.
This is indeed good news. Via Steve Benen, the Huffington Post had the goods on where Obama stands on allowing workers to form a union when a majority of them sign union cards.
I just breathed a big sigh of relief.
For those Kossacks not familiar with why the Employee Free Choice Act is such an important piece of legislation, I encourage you to visit American Rights at Work, which explains it all in easy to understand langauge.
For those who feel that the NLRB "Secret Ballot" Process is sacred and for whom card check is a violation of basic democratic principles, you should probably click here and find out why this is flatly absurd.
Lastly, my heart actually did skip a beat at the idea that Mary Beth Maxwell might be Secretary of Labor. I'm that big of a labor nerd.
