Here in Wisconsin, organized labor has offered growth, growth that has seen generations of families cherish the foundation of their princples to build a quality of life for betterment. We have exchanged our sweat for a roof over our heads, we have exchanged our weekly wealth for tomorows retirement security, but now a vision by those blinded by a stranglehold of empowerment shall make an attempt to create our surrender unconditionally.
For members of Organized Labor in the communities of Wisconsin, the back room engineering of Walker and his Hop along sidekicks plans to extract organized labors position in this state has broaden our awareness to stand up, not to move over. Collective Bargaining has its place, its place to bring the checks and balances to a workplace, to build the middleclass, bring achievements to support growth and security not only for the organized worker, but to create goals for the unorganized to reach.
If Wisconsins Top Brass wishes to tarish our existance, our existance has become the soul of our mass. As tens of thousands traveled to unite in the Capitol Square, our leadership is our collective heartbeat. As efforts were calculated to turn organized labor upside down, we kept coming back up, never losing strength. For those that use government as a shield to take organized labor backwards, our presence continues to march forward.
The next turn is this road is approaching us quickly and most likely without notice. Many have attempted to grab the wheel to steer organized labor into the ditch, only for us to regain control to continue on forwarded with both eyes on the road.
