Obama hits 50 in the new Zogby poll:
A new Washington Times/Zogby Poll of likely voters nationwide conducted this past weekend shows President Barack Obama now leading his GOP challenger Mitt Romney 50% to 47%.
By a factor of 42% to 28%, voters said that President Obama won the second debate (32% to 23% among independents) and by 49% to 41%, voters agree that Mr. Romney’s numbers on taxes and the deficit do not add up (53% to 35% among independents)...
More clearly for the President: 49% to 38%, voters think he will win on November 6 (50% to 32% among independents) and that his wife will make a better First Lady (36% to 26%)...
The Washington Times/Zogby Poll of U.S. Likely Voters sampled 37% Democrats, 35% Republicans and 28% independents; 74% white, 10% Hispanic, and 12% African American; and 18% age 18-29, 39% age 30-49, 25% age 50-64, and 18% age 65+.
Obama is also back on top at the
TPM aggregate poll, if only just.
