Unions plotting strategy in right-to-work battle
Let me tell you how bad this is. This is bad because due to the compounding effect of globalization, American workers are not competitive in the global market. To get competitive, wages and benefits need to go down. If the Union heartland is at risk then they are ALL at risk.
Now considering how social media spreads information like fire, I am gonna guess this will not sit well with the majority of Americans.
With the world economy literally starting to sputter, I don't see any room for people to negotiate their wages. From what I have been learning through my education, this is a pretty toxic mix of issues.
Something has to give...wonder what it will be? But I am sure most of you will know what it will be after reading this:
"After Developmentalism and Globalization, What?" By IMMANUEL WALLERSTEIN, Yale University.
P.S.
I am a NEWBIE at these diaries so please don't eat me alive if I didn't use proper etiquette with my style of writing. I'm definitely open to suggestions by anyone.
