What is the difference between Israel and the USA?
Israel violates international law and gets its biggest advocate and protector to stand by its side during international review and debate over its actions. To Israel, it is like having a big, big brother standing behind you with a look of madness on his face as your adversaries shout and shake their fists at you. Then, Israel has the audacity, the impudence to try and have international law changed so that their collective caustic, heinous, inhumane, barbaric treatment of another group of human beings, will somehow bee seen as “legal,” as if the rest of the world identifies with them! Enough!
The U.S.A. signs treaty after treaty after treaty, especially those that have either an immediate material benefit to a subset of powerful Americans or expands the imperialism that will benefit a small subset of powerful Americans. There are two shocking elements in this comparison; first, the U.S.A. signs these treaties knowing full well that they will violate any treaty anytime it stands in their way of expanding their empire or causes interference with the accumulation of material things. The U.S.A. stands devoutly behind Israel not because of common ideology or purpose, or even religious connection. It does so because at this moment in time, the America believes Israel is the most powerful nation in the most oil rich corner of the world. But like a treaty, America’s treatment of that association can and will change at a moments notice. As soon as either a new power emerges that is as friendly to America as Israel professes to be, or, it becomes incontrovertible that Israel is more a danger to America, and its empire, than it is a friend.
America and Israel (the political entities) are much alike. Israel is more manifest in its lawlessness but felonious behavior is in America too. America dresses its violations up with words of patriotism, nationalism, defense of country. They use false-flags to create situations that inflame citizens then use that passion to run amuck in the world.
Israel is like a EF-5 tornado. It cares not what others thinks of its actions. It drives forcefully forward using the ultimate authoritarian belief, religion to debase and destroy everything in its path. They firmly believe that they, not Arabs, not Africans, not Europeans, not Asians, and certainly not Americans, are God’s chosen people, that the land, the air, and the water are theirs. They firmly believe that Judaism, not Islam, not Catholicism, and certainly not Christianity, is the only true religion. Their belief is as strong, if not stronger, than all other religions and this is the basis for their actions.
So, the similarity between these two countries are a lack of a moral compass, a growing lack of humanity, a growing world distrust in its words, and the manipulation of international laws to suit its own selfish purposes.
There is one big difference though, that I touched on already, that can turn these similarities about-face. Israel is on a course that has put it closer to losing America as its most favored ally, protector and supporter. But like everything else I said in this… castigation, these traits and actions are cleverly disguised.
You certainly will not hear an “in-depth” report on main stream media alluding to my feelings. You will not find it in any current events discourse. These feelings come from a relatively short period of time watching, learning, talking, and reading not only readily available information, but concerns of others through non-traditional communications. Add to that, my own experience with government, with the military, with religion, with life and a lot of thought, and yes, I feel melancholic, pensive, gloomy, despondent.
